Arriving to Chile:
In the Airport there are Taxi Counters that you can easily reach in the International Arrivals floor and in the First Level Central Hall. This service is available 24 hours per day, the whole year. Also, there's and Official Taxi service, see its logo, that has the following phone number in case that you want to book your Taxi from your country: (56 2) 690 1381.

The Taxi rates, from the airport to the hotel (thinking in terms of distances and Hotels located in Providencia - municipality), are around $10.000 (Chilean Pesos). You must have the national currency in order to pay them, of course in the Airport are Counters of Money Exchange, the most secure one is located inside the Airport, before reaching the International Police counters, at your left hand.

Also, if you are staying at the Neruda Apart Hotel, it has its own Transportation Service, from the Airport to the Hotel, its rate is of USD$28, if you need it, just contact María José López.

Transportation to the Conference Venue:
In order to facilitate your mobility to the UTFSM, we will have a Bus Service departing on Monday and Tuesday morning (at 8:00) from the Neruda Apart Hotel to the UTFSM and back to the Hotel when the event finishes each day.

If you go to the Taxi Counters, you wont need necessary to speak in Spanish, the people in the counters usually understands English. In any case, be sure to carry the precise address of your hotel and to show it to the Taxi Driver if you don't feel confident of your Spanish. Also, if you are staying at the Neruda Apart Hotel, it has its own Transportation Service, from the Airport to the Hotel, its rate is of USD$28, if you need it, just contact María José López.

Costs:
The Hotel, Plane Tickets and Taxis must be paid by each member, the EELA Conference organization will take care of the transportation by bus from the Neruda Apart Hotel to the UTFSM and back (the hotel is near to most of the hotels of the area, so if any participant choose another Hotel, please take contact with María José López in order to get the directions of how to reach the Neruda Apart Hotel from your location).
Coffee Breaks and Lunches, served at the UTFSM, are included in the events budget, there for they will have no cost for the Conference participants. Also we are planning to have a social dinner on Monday 4 night.
